The Passion and Party
Wow! We grabbed a few friends, went to the local AMC got our discount student tickets and watched the most incredible portrayal of Jesus and the crucifiction ever! What an awesome God! If you haven’t yet seen it - you should!! I was struck by several things throughout the presentation.
- He went valuntarily! No one forced him to offer his life - He chose it!
I knew this already, but watching how many times the choice was His to leave the cross behind, to forsake humanity and not pay such a high price!
- Second, I can trust the God who has given so much for me!
I can trust him with my life - I can trust Him with my children’s lives. As I think about internship in Thailand - I am convinced that God is watching over my children. He came and accomplished all that He intended to accomplish. I belive He will accomplish His purposes in the lives of Gabrielle and Hanakah! Today we celebrated with friends and family in MN the birth and life of Josiah. It was a blessing to have a housefull of people who represent the many who have prayed us through this last year. We enjoyed sharing his pictures, memories etc.
