trying to get into gear

This is the day - make sure the list of items to sell is complete - see if I can get it translated into Thai and spread the word - refrig - rice cooker - hot water pot - clothes washer - shelves - a desk - two burner stove with 30 liter gas tank - etc. etc…
This weekend we will attend a retreat with the church at a beach resort.
Several people plan to be baptized, there will be teaching, fellowship and some sort of good-bye for our family of four…
For several weeks this point in time has been coming. We have honestly felt settled in - and enjoying the feeling. Now, it is time to “BREAK IT UP” ![]()
Ginger’s goldfish are watching me type here and she will miss these beautiful specimen. Our neighbors will be remembered next time we are stuck in the rain. (Yesterday while walking to dinner, a light sprinkle turned into a tropical downpour. Piboon stopped his truck on his way out to lend us his two umbrellas.) The gecko’s eating the mosquito’s will remain here and their chirping will be stories at bedtime with Gabrielle and Hanakah.
We will not miss the ants… the cockroaches… people saying, “falang!” everywhere we go…
BUT - the list of miss is going to be a bit bigger than the NOT…
