College Life, Family Life, Coffee and other such realities

Ginger and I are sitting here enjoying a blend of Espresso roast and Kamodo Dragon Starbucks blend. Mmmmmm. Yeah.
Our hallway is filled with boxes… packed a year ago and brought out after we returned from Thailand. Barely being able to squeeze through the hall words from a song are floating in my head… “this valley’s so deep, I can barely see the sun I cry out for mercy, Lord
You lift me up again” (awesome song: get down by Audio Adrenaline)
Lots of sorting and de-cluttering happening all day.
Gabrielle and Hanakah are enjoying the children downstairs - one new family recently moved in

- three boys 6 and younger. “Zeke” reminds me so much of Eric - he is Hanakah’s age.
My mind is swirling with thoughts about the future, about present projects, about the final paper I need to write and turn in by Monday. Yet, being that we just finished the last modular course with the final test last Thursday my brain says, “ahhhh - thank God that is over!!” (I gotta admit - this is a pretty intense way to do courses compared with how we did things last year at the Missions Training School!) Monday I start my mod #4 - Acts with Tony Hedrick - Professor.
As part of the Leadership course that runs till graduation I’ll begin writing out a working plan for the next 2,3,5 years and beyond. I am excited about this - I’ve begun to dream again along with Ginger about what is ahead. I see Washington, Central Asia, Alaska… I’ll connect a few of those dots for you later ;-) SEO, CSS, PHP…
Studying these topics has been part of my afternoon assignments as well as a job I volunteered for at Bethany Church. Basically these things are about creating and refining a communication strategy - then making your online resources accessible to individuals looking for what you have. A lot of information to absorb - but I am loving it.
