It is Friday night, another fast week has left its deposit on life, emotions, spiritual exercise, physical and mental strain, family development (baby is kicking lots and lots… pretty fun to reach over and feel that little life really going to town!

A guest speaker came and spoke on Deism this week, a great time of discussion was had by all. Two groups in our class also gave presentations on different world-views: New Age and Naturalism vs. Intelligent Design… some fine content for discussion.
An interesting thought from Greg, a student at the University of London and one who has made it his life’s calling to understand and identify truth, is that when a Believer fails to remember that Jesus is the full revelation of God one quickly begins to live a life of practical Deism: the view that God is distant, uninterested in relationship and simply expecting performance… Greg went into it with much passion as he longs for people to realize the full measure of life in relationship with the God whose primary attribute is not power - but Love. Amazing grace!
Here is a little clip of the trail right across the street. Honestly when I am on the trail I feel like I am flying. I love to ride and am seriously looking at what it would take to pedal from Seattle to say, Katchikan or Juneau Alaska… it would probably be a little longer that this 40 second clip of the trail!
