Tour de Turkey; by bus, metro, taxi and foot
Istanbul - week one
Izmir - Passed through Monday
Ephesus - Tuesday
Selcuk - Tuesday & Wednesday
Konya - Thursday & Friday
Facts discovered and to be remembered:
a. People who speak fluent english are generally the carpet salesmen. They will be your best friends and help you feel great about leaving with an empty wallet 
b. Konya is off the beaten path for the Western tourist - and has a lot more beauty to offer. Worth the travel time!!
c. Turkish fast food pizza’s will give you heartburn
d. Real Turkish Pizza (Lahmacun) is delicious - the servings we had were long pizza’s - going the length of the entire table! (Here is a good looking recipe I found)
e. Just because you can touch, pickup and handle historical architecture does not mean you want to try to take it home. For a good dissuasion here’s a movie that proves this point
