Jesus is my “Zero, Zero” Friend

Gabrielle gleefully informed me just now that Jesus is indeed her number “zero, zero” friend.
Her “zero” friend is her cousin Evan. Her explanation as a kindergartner who is thrilled with numbers is: zero comes before one. So, that makes it the real first number – so “zero, zero” means “THE BEST!” and “zero” means “Best” ;-)

What sparked this outburst of joy was a simple discussion on the nearness of Jesus – He is God, He is everywhere, and He loves to be with His children. Amazing. What an amazing thing to see your own children grow in love with Jesus as they ask, learn and observe their parents – as inacurate a reflection of God’s love we may feel at times.

This week happens to be a one week module course on “Knowing the Son”. Taught by Allen Hood, guest teacher from International House of Prayer, Kansas City. I will write more about this course it is a MAJOR happening in my own life… off to apply and study a little more before sleep.

This is evidenced by my friend’s daughter’s comment about Jesus being her, “zero, zero friend”. In order to understand this, you will have to read this short article by my good friend Tim It’s definitely a classic!!! [...]
